HOW WE TACKLED THE BRIEF GIVEN TO US

Brief

The Shayer Group (developers of the notorious Pentridge grounds in Coburg) needed to change the perception of the cold historial site to a hub of life and entertainment.

The approval of the community needed to come by engagement (physically and digitally) and participation. The site we activated is to become a shopping and dining district for residents and locals.

Deliverables

Coraid produced 2 major events for the Shayer Group at Pentridge with over 15,000 people attending the Latin Spring Festival over 2 days in September 2016 and 10,000 in March 2017 with over 32 food vendors, 80 market stall holders and 30 bands. In the lead up to the events we were covered by The Age, Herald Sun, Time Out Magazine (print and web), Concrete Playground, Broadsheet, The Leader and a variety of others. The event was also featured in the Herald Sun on Sunday hailing the success of the event and how there now was “a new feeling within the walls of Pentridge”. The social engagement was also in the high 100,000s.
